The Next Step
Use Designer Plus Software to design your next quilt. You can choose blocks from the application’s library, design your own blocks or even add embroidered or appliqued blocks. Next choose your quilt orientation, sashing and borders. You determine the size, number of blocks and their position on the quilt. You can even scan in your own fabrics to preview what the quilt will look like. The software then provides a guide to quilt construction and a yardage chart showing how much of each fabric you will need. It also provides rotary cutting instructions.
This is an advanced class based on knowledge from the Designer Plus Software Series, “Step by Step”. Both Version 8 and 9 will be covered. There will probably be a second class held at a later date to be determined by the class. If you have not completed the Designer Plus course and wish to take this class, please contact the shop to speak with Carol.
